Kohala Zipline
If you are the adventurer type, then check out Kohala Zipline tours. We went here last December and had an amazing time. After a being outfitted with some very nice zip lining gear and a brief safety orientation, we loaded up in the back of a huge off road vehicle and headed up the mountain. In the rainy season, getting up the mountain can be just as much of an adventure as zip lining.
Along with several Zipline platforms, Kohala Zipline also has suspension bridges and several really fun rappelling platforms, making for a very unique adventure. The whole Zipline tour last about three hours. Kohala Zipline is located on the north part of the Big Island, which can get pretty windy. Make sure you bring some long sleeves if you go.
