OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE UNFORGETTABLE SURFING EXPERIENCES!
Hawaii’s spirit of aloha has been alive and well at Kahalu’u Bay Surf and Sea since 1997. No other surf and beach rental shop on the island offers the range of equipment, surfing expertise and “Hawaiian style” with extreme beachfront convenience.

Proprietors Isha Taylor and Ben Callaghan have dedicated their lives to the ocean experience.
Avid surfers since childhood, they bring their knowledge and love of the ocean to each and every customer experience. The staff is trained, certified and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of surfing lessons and ocean instruction.
We are located directly across the street from Kona’s famed Kahalu’u Bay,
considered the jewel of the Big Island and the best place to learn how to surf, stand-up paddle and experience one of Hawaii’s great treasures.
