LYMANS
Lymans is located in the heart of Kona. This wave can dish up some powerful left breaking waves with ruler shaped perfection.
Located on the Big Island at Ali’i Drive in Kailua-Kona, Lymans presents an intermediate to advanced wave that breaks left. Primarily known on the Big Island as a long board wave, this deep-water point break needs a good-sized swell in order to break. During winter months when swells come from the north, Lymans offers a nice, short board break featuring very fast lefts during big swells.
Park your car across the street and walk along the rock wall to launch from the bay. Watch for a rock in the middle of the wave, or you could lose a fin or flesh.
